Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration (SAMHSA) www.samhsa.gov Focuses on a life in the community for everyone. Its mission is to build resilience and facilitate recovery for people with or at risk for mental or substance use disorders.

UCSD Autism Research Program http://psy3.ucsd.edu/~autism/index.html Is federally-funded and involved in the experimental analysis and treatment of autism. It strives to improve the understanding of language, social, and attention deficits with autism. Its focus is on development, delivery, and evaluation of behaviorally-based interventions, typically within a parent-training model.
