Ages 13–18
Bridges Early Intervention Program
Educational groups for teens cited by law enforcement. Addresses anger management, alcohol/drug use, theft, graffiti, etc. through diversion programs.
Bridges Teen Center
Supportive treatment services for youth in Central-Southeast San Diego exhibiting signs of alcohol and/or drug abuse and other behavioral /mental health concerns.
Merit Day Treatment
Individual, group and family therapy in an integrated school/ mental health program for special education high school students in East County.
S.A.F.I.R. (Supporting Adolescents and Families in Recovery)
Weekly structured multi-family support/education groups provide a forum, free-of-charge for parent and youth to discuss substance use disorder issues and receive support from peers.
Substance Use Disorder Services (SUDS)
Case management, family educational groups, support and drug testing for teens supervised by the Probation Department.
ON TRACK
Short-term diversion program for first time young offenders and their families to improve communication and strengthen family relationships. Groups are offered for free.
Learning Assistance Center (LAC) | County Contracts
School- and home-based mental health intervention to children, youth and families.

School-based mental health treatment to special education students.
Stein Education Center – Special Education Programs
Serve children and adults with autism spectrum disorders, intellectual and developmental disabilities, severe emotional disturbance, or multiple disabilities. Provide individualized educational, recreational, behavioral and vocational training programs.
Stein Education Center – Special Care Services, After School
Serve children and adults with autism spectrum disorders, intellectual and developmental disabilities, severe emotional disturbance, or multiple disabilities. Provide individualized educational, recreational, behavioral and vocational training programs.
SmartCare Behavioral Health Consultation Services (BHCS)
Real-time access to psychiatric/behavior health treatment consultation for primary care providers throughout San Diego County.
SmartCare Integrated Behavioral Health (SmartCare)
Consultants, educators and psychiatrists partner with selected rural community health clinics to provide behavioral health screening, evaluation, medication consultation and short-term therapy integrated within the primary health care setting.
We also offer programs and services for Children (ages 0–13), Young Adults (ages 18–23), Adults (age 18+), and Families.
