Specific services include:

  • Medication Evaluation, Prescription and Monitoring
  • Short-term Individual, Family and Group Support
  • Case Management and Community Linkage
  • Firesetter evaluation (Probation-referred)
  • Psychotropic medication review
  • Medication & treatment 2nd opinion

The Juvenile Court Clinic provides medication stabilization and linkage services to youth involved with and referred directly through the Juvenile Courts, Probation and the Child Welfare Services CARE unit.

Services are offered to assist youth with serious emotional challenges; facilitating movement from their involvement with these systems back into their communities.

Professional Staff

Our clinical team is comprised of therapists, nurses, psychiatrists and community support staff. We begin with a comprehensive assessment and evaluation of current functioning, treatment and community resources.

For up to 90-days, psychosocial services, case management and transition/referral services are offered.

The Juvenile Court Clinic is funded by the County of San Diego through the California Mental Health Services Act (Proposition 63) and EPSDT (MediCal).

Eligibility / Hours / Location

Referred SED youth with MediCal or who are uninsured or underinsured are eligible for our services.

We are conveniently located on the property of the Juvenile Court and Probation offices in Kearny Mesa.

Hours

Monday through Friday 8am - 5pm (evenings by appointment).
